Greetings!
My name is Kyle Folsom. I am a Registered Piano Technician (RPT) based in Kansas City, MO! I first began learning the trade about 6 months after I graduated college and decided that a "real job" just wasn't for me. Working on pianos quickly became one of my biggest passions in life and I am now very grateful for the opportunity to serve the people of Kansas City and beyond!

I strongly believe in continued education. After joining the Piano Technicians Guild (PTG) in 2022, I have attended both regional and national conventions in places such as Kansas City, St. Louis, Des Moines, IA and Arlington, VA. I have been an active member of my local PTG chapter, and attended multiple technical seminars from top experts in the industry such as Don Mannino (southern California) and Maria Pollock (Chicago). I worked closely with my mentors as I started building my clientele and working at local piano galleries, and preparing to take the three RPT exams. As of July 2026, I am happy to have achieved this! Service Packages
Basic Piano Service
$200 - 2 hrs
Designed for those who have had their pianos serviced in the last 12-18 months. Includes stable tuning at standard pitch (A440), and any other basic repairs or spot adjustments to the action that can be completed within the two hour time window.
Intermediate Piano Service
$275 - 3 hrs
This package is tailored to those who have had their pianos serviced in the last 2-4 years. In addition to what the basic service package has to offer, the piano will receive a deep cleaning and foundational regulation or voicing adjustments across the whole keyboard.
Advanced Piano Service
$350 - 4 hrs
If your piano hasn't received any service in the last 5 years or more, you should highly consider this in depth service package. The piano will be deep cleaned and tuned, and more thorough regulation or voicing will take place for enhanced control and tonal improvements.
