About Me

Originally from St. Louis, MO, I relocated to Kansas City in 2021 with no idea what I wanted to do with my life. Fresh out of school with a degree I didn't want to pursue, I leaned into my love of music and desire to work with my hands.

I was immediately attracted to the idea of servicing pianos and enhancing the playing experience both physically and auditorily. As an amateur player myself, I have very much fallen victim to a bad sounding instrument and know the effect this can have on your desire to play and practice. Let me help you stay motivated!

In pursuit of more knowledge, I found myself helping out around a local piano shop for a short while at the start of 2022, learning the basics of tuning, repair, and moving instruments. This wrapped up and I began my own adventure restoring old pianos in my living room (I have the best roommates ever) and tuning for the community!

Now a member of the Piano Technicians Guild (PTG), I'm super excited to continue my learning and increase the quality and efficiency of my service. I hope to soon pass my remaining two exams required to become a Registered Piano Technician with the PTG in the next couple years!

Outside of music and pianos, I love spending my free time rock climbing, going for walks, and spending time with friends and family.
